Student Input/Buttons and Display
- Five Key Pad Choices: A, B, C, D, E, plus an On/Off button
- Three LED indicators on each remote: Power, Low Battery, Vote Status. The Vote Status light provides feedback when a vote has been received

Remote Design and Accessibility
- The LED lights were designed with the needs of color blind students in mind; a steady light confirms Vote Status, while a blinking light indicates the student must vote again.

Power and Battery Details
- Long battery life of 200 hours. Remotes have approximately 10 remaining hours of use when the low battery light appears.

Range and Frequency
- Two-way radio frequency system operating at 915 MHz ensures no collision/interference with Wi-Fi technologies
- 200-300 feet range with a live i>clicker receiver
- 16 sub-frequencies prevent interference with nearby classrooms. The process to change frequencies is trivial for both instructor and student.

Registration and Log-in Procedures
- Printed on the back of each remote is a unique identification code (ID) which allows you to know how each individual student voted. When a student "registers" his/her remote, that unique ID is linked to that student. We have more than 2 million unique remote IDs
