Product Information – Heartwood Creations
All Heartwood Creations products are handmade in Rockford, Illinois, USA.  Color variations are characteristics of wood grain uniqueness and hand-craftsmanship.

Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express through ‘Google Checkout’, our secure, online merchant.  If you would prefer, we are also able to accept your order over the phone.  For security purposes, do not provide your credit card details via Email.  We also accept checks and money orders.  Please contact us directly via phone or Email before sending funds in the mail.  Your item will ship once the payment in full has cleared our bank. 

Order Information
Claims for damages/shortages must be made within 10 days after receipt of merchandise. No claims will be accepted after this time unless it is a warranty issue. All returns must be authorized by contacting us and will be subject to a 25% restocking charge unless it is a warranty replacement/repair or greater value exchange.  We do not issue call tags. Shipping charges on all returned merchandise will be paid by the customer and are not refundable.

Once shipments are accepted, merchandise is the responsibility of the customer. Inspect all packages and report visible damage to the carrier upon acceptance.

Shipping
All domestic orders are shipped via UPS.  Our shipping charges are calculated based on the cumulative weight of the items ordered and the shipping method; UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select or UPS Standard Overnight.  If free shipping is offered on an order, the order will be shipped via UPS ground.

Our goal is to process orders and ship them in 3-5 business days of initial order, excluding transit time

Please notify us immediately if an item is damaged due to shipping as we only have ten business days from the date of receipt to process your claim, and resend your items. Otherwise you may have to take your claim directly with the carrier.

Sales Tax
Sales tax will be charged on all orders that ship to any Colorado location at the state rate of 2.9%.
