WORLDS BEST RACK SCREWS / RACK MOUNT BOLTS.
WE MEAN IT!!!
Yeah I know it's just a rack screw, but if like me, you've put in many
hundreds or thousands of rack screws you know that a good percentage of
them will cross-thread as soon as you start them. These will reduce the
number of cross threaded starts you will have by many fold. They can even
be successfully used to "fix" already cross-threaded holes
sometimes. The
main reason these are different is that their shaft is tapered smaller
than the threads so it starts more accurately resulting in much fewer
cross-threads. Due to the tapering it is also easier to start one of these
screws when you have the screw gun or driver in one hand with the screw
already stuck to the end, and the piece of gear in the other doing a
"balancing act" while trying to get the threads started. You can
also have much less fear starting these with a power driver. No more
"gingerly" starting all you screws with a manual driver then
switching to your power driver. These also feature an oversized head with
matching nylon washer, great for worn, enlarged, or oversized holes in
gear. I bet you never thought anyone could talk this long about something
a simple as a rack screw, but these things really are the best
we've encountered. Each is finished in a durable semi-gloss black coating and
comes with size matched nylon bushing. They
are designed for standard, SAE, US threaded racks
(10-32) and will even fit SKB type
clips.

* While it is permissible to use only 2 screws to mount most
rack-mount items, the screws must be through the lower-most holes, not the
top ones or used diagonally. If you use the lower ones, gravity will
take care of the top. If there is any chance the rack will be tipped,
rolled, inverted, knocked over or moved dynamically in any other way, then
all screw holes should be utilized.

Original / OEM Fostex rack mount ears / brackets for Fostex reel to
reel decks measuring 14" wide x ~ 3 3/8" tall. These definitely fit
the model "80" 8-Track, but should fit the Fostex A2 / A-2, A-8 /
A-8LR, & Fostex Model 20 and any others that measure the same. The
hole spacing on the machine mounting side is 5.5" / 142mm apart. Solidly built.
Very clean cosmetically with just a few striations (see photos
above). Black, satin anodized aluminum.
Measures: Reel mounting flange is 1.75" deep. Ear width is 62mm / 2
7/16" and 13 3/8" high. Will include a set of 4 of our "Worlds
Best" rack screws.

This came in loaded with vintage Crown equipment. I could be from
Crown, or could be from another mfg. It will, of course fit standard
/ 19" width rack gear from any company. Solidly built. Decently
clean cosmetically with about the only issue being a sliver of
veneer on the rear, top edge. Other than that, just a few expected,
minor dings / tics (see photos above). All holes in the rack rail
have had their threads tested with standard 10-32 rack bolts and ALL
are in good shape. Perforated metal ventilation screen on top panel.
Photos show the finish as 'shiny', but that's because it still had a
'wet coat' of lemon oil. It dried more of a 'satin' sheen.
Measures 20.5" overall width x 16.5" deep and 12.25" high.

Great way to dress-up rack and carry your classic Kenwood audio gear.
Relatively speaking, these are for some of
Kenwoods 'tallest' units. Will fit
KR-8010 receiver and KX-803 and KX-1030 cassette deck. Will
likely also fit other gear and we will add their model numbers as
that info comes available. They're the same height as
the KR-9600, but that unit uses a different type of handle that
screws directly into the faceplate from the front. In great shape.
Still very shiny where they're supposed to be. No cracks / breaks or
other issues.
Overall height 6.25"
/ 157mm. Screw / Bolt center to center is
80mm. No screws included.

Very rare original Sansui Audio / Stereo Rack. This what you need to
mount that classic Sansui system in. Features original rack rail to
mount Sansui or any brand of gear in. Rack-rail spaced for standard
consumer / pro width of 19". Glass doors open to allow an internal
width of 19.5". There is no back to restrict equipment depth, but
front of rails to rear of rack measures 14.75". Rails are
31.5" tall or 18 spaces. The 20 (10 per side) original and included
mounting screws can be slid to any position, so unlike standard
"drilled and tapped" rack rail, you can place the gear in any
position you wish. There are dual casters up front and fixed
"pod" feet in rear which allows the rack to be moved by
lifting the back, but stays put when lowered. Same design used on many
work benches and shop equipment stands. The rack is in great condition.
Both glass doors in perfect shape as is their hinges and magnetic
catches. The simulated wood grain sides look beautiful with only very
minimum wear as does the black textured top. Stands 37.5" tall and
is 22.25" wide overall outside and 17.75" deep.
